Community Funfair - Friday March 15th; 4pm - 8pm

Come along! The Community Funfair is celebrating Emergency Services, organisations and community groups involved in evacuations and emergencies in our region on Friday March 15th.

We are excited to launch our new Mobile Community Hub, to be utilized at evacuation centres to support evacuees with information and referrals, as well as art, craft and other social activities, whilst staying at the Evacuation Centre.

The event will be held at the rear of the Wangaratta Showgrounds, near the Wangaratta Magpies Netball Courts (one of the potential evacuation centre sites).

There will be kids activities - including a LIVE REPTILE SHOW, entertainment provided by JADE GIBSON, drinks, food trucks and of course – each of our amazing Emergency Services & Supporting Organisations!

This fun event, is a valuable opportunity to familiarise your family and friends, with the emergency services and organisations who could support you in a time of need. You will have the opportunity to chat to them about what to expect during times of evacuation. For those of you who have been evacuated before, its also a great opportunity to provide feedback and give thanks. 

Parking is available at the sports and aquatic centre, as well as street parking outside of the showgrounds. No parking within the showgrounds. 

Two pedestrian entry/exit points are available.

2. Golf Links Lane Showgrounds gate.
